U.S. Business Group Applauds Modi's Third Term

The US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF) congratulated Narendra Modi on his historic third term as India's Prime Minister. Highlighting continuity in policy and reform with incoming portfolios, the group emphasized this would boost investor confidence. The USISPF has aimed to strengthen U.S.-India partnerships since 2017.

In a landmark expression of support, the US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF) has extended warm congratulations to Narendra Modi on his historic third term as Prime Minister of India. This alignment, according to the group, signals a promising continuity in policy and reform agenda.

Modi, who was sworn in for his third consecutive term on Sunday, leads the BJP-headed National Democratic Alliance government. Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of USISPF, emphasized the significance of rapid government formation post-election, reflecting the resolve to promptly address governance and fulfill public trust.

Aghi underscored that the continuance in new portfolios would help soothe investor apprehensions while bolstering their confidence. Established in 2017, the USISPF aims to enhance strategic ties between the two nations. The forum previously hosted Modi during his state visit to Washington in June 2023. Aghi expressed hopes for furthering this momentum and extended best wishes to the Prime Minister and his ministers.
