Shiv Sena's Shinde Criticizes Congress, Praises Ambedkar's Role in Reservation

Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Shinde criticized the Congress, stating that without B.R. Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru would have ended reservation. He emphasized Congress's electoral losses, urging them to introspect the reasons. Shinde also accused Congress of spreading false narratives about the BJP undermining the Constitution.

Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, Shiv Sena leader Shrikant Shinde on Monday stated that had B R Ambedkar not been there, India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru would have ended reservation.

During a debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address, Shinde noted Congress's continuous electoral defeats while criticizing their perceived arrogance. He also condemned the Congress's allegations that the NDA government was undermining the Constitution.

Shinde, representing Kalyan in the Lok Sabha, highlighted that Congress has been relegated to the opposition irrespective of contesting alone or as part of the INDIA bloc, and urged the party to introspect its electoral downfall.

The Shiv Sena leader met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi alongside NCP members to discuss development in Maharashtra, presenting Modi with a statue of Vitthal Rakhumai.
