Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed confidence on Wednesday that his party will outperform its recent Lok Sabha election results in the upcoming by-elections for 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh.
While the Election Commission has yet to announce the schedule for these bypolls, Yadav emphasized increased internal strife within the ruling BJP, which he claimed is causing suffering among the people.
Yadav also welcomed Vijay Bahadur, a former Zila Panchayat chairman, into the party, praising his contributions to the PDA's ongoing constitutional fight.
