Congress Goes Solo for Delhi Elections, Plans 'Delhi Jodo Yatra'
DPCC president Devender Yadav announced that the Congress party will contest the upcoming Delhi assembly elections alone, following perceived losses due to an alliance with AAP in the Lok Sabha elections. The party also plans a 'Delhi Jodo Yatra' to connect with the city's citizens, drawing inspiration from similar nationwide initiatives.

In a significant political move, the Congress will contest the Delhi assembly elections independently, revealed Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Devender Yadav. The decision follows an evaluation that showed the party lost ground in the Lok Sabha elections due to its alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Yadav announced plans for a 'Delhi Jodo Yatra,' similar to the party's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' aimed at engaging with Delhi's residents. Senior leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, will be invited to join this initiative.
The DPCC is also working on a comprehensive manifesto through sub-committees engaging various societal sectors, indicating a meticulous strategy to reclaim Delhi's 70 assembly seats, previously held before AAP's decade-long governance.
