At least two people were killed and 30 others injured in clashes between protestors and ruling Awami League supporters. Thousands of demonstrators gathered nationwide, demanding Hasina's resignation.
Hasina convened a meeting of the National Committee on Security Affairs at Ganabhaban, according to the Dhaka Tribune, citing Prime Minister's Office sources. Top security officials, including the chiefs of the Army, Navy, Air Force, police, RAB, BGB, attended the meeting, along with her security adviser and the home minister.
