Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis participated in a coordination meeting of the Vidarbha unit of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Friday evening, according to sources.
The gathering is pivotal as it comes ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, slated for October.
This meeting included representatives from various Sangh Parivar organizations, with RSS joint general secretary Arun Kumar also in attendance. Fadnavis was there on behalf of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), sources said.
