Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge Unite in Birthday Wishes for Hemant Soren

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday extended his birthday greetings to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, committing that the INDIA bloc will champion the rights of the poor, the deprived, and the tribals of the nation, with the goal of securing victory.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge joined him in extending his wishes to Soren, wishing him a long life and good health. Kharge mentioned in a post on X that the INDIA bloc is united in its fight for social justice, economic empowerment, and inclusive development across the country.

Hemant Soren, who holds the position of executive president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), celebrated his 49th birthday on Saturday. Rahul Gandhi, in a Hindi post on X, congratulated Soren, emphasizing the importance of fighting for the rights of marginalized communities and assuring that the united efforts of INDIA bloc will lead to success.

In light of the upcoming state assembly elections in Jharkhand, the JMM and Congress are aiming to retain their coalition government, challenging the BJP-led opposition in the state.
