Congress member Pramod Tiwari has voiced his opinions on the Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia, implicated in a money laundering case linked to Delhi's excise policy scam. Tiwari emphasized that high-ranking officials should not face arrest unless absolutely necessary. 'The Supreme Court has reiterated that bail is the rule, and jail is the exception,' Tiwari told ANI on Saturday.

Continuing his criticism, Tiwari stated, 'The government should only arrest ministers after filing a charge sheet and having substantial proof. It is concerning that the government is now misusing central agencies against the opposition, which is wrong.'

Also reacting to the Supreme Court's decision, AAP member Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer congratulated Sisodia on his bail. 'This is a very happy moment for AAP as Manish Sisodia has been granted bail after 17 months,' Hayer told ANI. 'He has worked tirelessly to provide education to children and has made it a national issue.' Hayer expressed hope that AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal would also be released soon, allowing the party to continue its service to the people.
