China Advocates for Democratic Transition in Myanmar

Wang's statements followed his meeting with Myanmar's junta leader Min Aung Hlaing earlier this week. The meeting took place amidst the backdrop of continued unrest and instability in Myanmar.

'China continues its commitment to restore peace and stability in Myanmar,' Wang asserted in translated comments at the conference.
