Bangladesh's Interim Government Expands with New Advisers
The interim government in Bangladesh, led by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, expanded its advisory council by adding four new members. The new advisers are Wahiduddin Mahmud, Ali Imam Majumdar, Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, and Lt Gen Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, increasing the council's total strength to 21.

In a significant expansion, Bangladesh's interim government, spearheaded by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, has inducted four new advisers into its ranks.
The latest additions to the advisory council are economist Wahiduddin Mahmud, former cabinet secretary Ali Imam Majumdar, former power secretary Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, and Lt Gen Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
This move brings the total number of council members to 21, following the upheaval and subsequent resignation of the Sheikh Hasina-led government. President Mohammed Shahabuddin administered the oaths at Bangabhaban.
