Pakistan-India Relations Remain Unchanged Since 2019

Pakistan confirmed there's no change in its ties with India post-August 2019, after India revoked Jammu and Kashmir's special status. Pakistan's suspension of bilateral trade remains intact with no current talks on resuming it. Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized non-interference by foreign governments and addressed regional security concerns.

Pakistan confirmed on Friday that its relations with India remain unchanged since August 2019 when New Delhi revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. This move led to a nosedive in bilateral ties, with Pakistan suspending trade and diplomatic talks.

Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, in a weekly briefing, reaffirmed that there are no current talks on resuming bilateral trade. She also highlighted the importance of non-interference by foreign governments, particularly addressing recent comments from the US about Pakistan's domestic issues.

Baloch rejected allegations of Pakistan's interference in Bangladesh's affairs and reiterated that Pakistan expects Afghanistan to curb terrorist activities within its borders, urging Kabul to take robust actions against militant groups.
