BJP Rajya Sabha MP Lahar Singh Siroya remains adamant about his allegations involving Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge’s family and KIADB land. Siroya asserted that he did not originate the claims; instead, a local website reveals the illicit land allotments to Kharge's family.

Speaking to ANI, Siroya stated, 'I have not made any allegations; it is being done by someone else. He has complained to the Governor about illegal allotments (of land). A local website shows that there have been illegal allotments to the family of Mallikarjun Kharge too. It shows that 5 acres of Aerospace Park have been allotted to Mallikarjun Kharge's family.'

Meanwhile, BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia demanded Mallikarjun Kharge's resignation, emphasizing Kharge's moral responsibility. 'Mallikarjun Kharge should resign immediately because he is the president, he has moral responsibility, and his family has been accused of this scam,' Bhatia voiced in a press conference.

However, Kharge's son and Karnataka IT/BT and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister, Priyank Kharge, defended the family by questioning the BJP's claims of illegality. 'BJP can say what they want. But they have to tell the people how is it illegal and what is illegal. It is a CA (Civic Amenity) site. It is not an industrial plot,' he responded.

The allegations surface as a land allotment scam controversy involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah unfolds. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has sanctioned prosecution over the disputed land allocation to Siddaramaiah's wife under a Mysore Urban Development Authority scheme.
