Controversy Surrounds BJP Functionary Arun Kumar Puthila Amid Sexual Harassment Allegations

Arun Kumar Puthila, a prominent BJP functionary, is embroiled in a serious controversy following sexual harassment allegations. According to police reports, the incident occurred in Bengaluru in 2023, where a woman claimed that Puthila took advantage of her trust.

The complainant, who wished to join Puthila’s pro-Hindu movement, later became one of his social media followers. She alleged that Puthila invited her to a lodge in Bengaluru, where he sexually assaulted her, blackmailed, and threatened to kill her.

The FIR, registered on September 1 at a women's police station in Puttur, reveals that Puthila allegedly had compromising photographs, selfies, audio, and videos of the woman, which he used for blackmail. Puthila has denied all allegations, stating they are politically motivated and orchestrated by his opponents.
