Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina on Wednesday labeled as “fake” an order on the party’s letterhead directing party workers in the valley to attend the welcome rally for Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid.
Rashid, who was released from Delhi's Tihar Jail on Wednesday following an interim bail granted for campaigning, was previously detained in a 2017 terror funding case.
Raina attributed the act to “frustrated opposition” and has sought the Election Commission's intervention to file an FIR against the alleged “political fraud.” He clarified via social media that no such order was issued from his office.
