The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is on the verge of securing a hat-trick in the Haryana assembly elections, edging closer to the majority mark. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has attributed this electoral success to the commitment of the party's workers and the support of the electorate. He asserted that the developmental efforts made by the BJP for the state's wrestlers, farmers, and youth were unmatched by any contributions from Congress.

Khattar also addressed accusations from the Congress party, which questioned the Election Commission's credibility. Echoing the sentiments of Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, Khattar commented, "A day will come when the public will respond, and Congress will utter the same excuse of faulty EVMs."

Despite exit polls showing different trends, Khattar observed that predictions have been inaccurate in the past, highlighting the need for analysts to reassess their methodologies. He also responded to Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda's '36 Biradari' remarks, emphasizing the BJP's unity slogan, 'Haryana ek, Haryanvi ek.' As the results trickled in, celebratory fireworks were reportedly set off near Khattar's residence in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal expressed unwavering confidence in the BJP's prospects in the assembly elections, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decade-long efforts for societal development as a driving force behind the party's anticipated victory.

According to the Election Commission's latest update, BJP candidates have clinched 26 seats and are leading in 24 of Haryana's 90 assembly seats, while Congress has secured 20 seats, leading in 15. Additionally, two independent candidates emerged victorious.
