The Kerala Cabinet, under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, has decided to propose to the Governor that the 13th session of the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly should commence on January 17. This decision was reached during a meeting held on Wednesday.
A cabinet sub-committee has been established to draft the Governor's policy address, according to a release from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). This sub-committee comprises ministers K N Balagopal, K Rajan, Roshy Augustine, K Krishnankutty, and A K Saseendran.
A Jayathilak, the Additional Chief Secretary, is tasked with gathering and coordinating information from various departments to aid in drafting the policy address. Additionally, the Cabinet has approved the acquisition of two vehicles for the Raj Bhavan.
