The Kremlin announced it had no new information regarding Ukraine peace talks, despite U.S. President Donald Trump's assertion that Russia would join discussions on Friday in Munich.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked on the need for time to form diplomatic connections following Trump's conversation with President Vladimir Putin earlier this week.
He assured reporters that updates would be provided once diplomatic contact had been successfully established.
