External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar actively engaged in diplomatic discussions at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, meeting with numerous international leaders. Among these was Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, with whom he explored avenues for resolving the ongoing Ukraine conflict.

Jaishankar emphasized Indian democratic strengths during a panel discussion alongside dignitaries like Norway's Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and Warsaw's Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski. The Foreign Minister also addressed issues of foreign interference, presenting an optimistic perspective amidst prevailing political pessimism.

In additional engagements, Jaishankar dialogued with Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Soder on economic and technological cooperation, and met Germany's Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, further discussing Ukraine and bilateral ties. His participation underscored India's strategic perspectives on global challenges and partnerships.
