Modi's Diplomatic Dance: Navigating Bangladesh Crisis Amid Trump's Support

BJP leader Dilip Ghosh expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ability to resolve the Bangladesh crisis, following comments by US President Donald Trump. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri highlighted discussions between Modi and Trump on the issue, emphasizing India's pursuit of stable relations with its neighbor.

BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has voiced his confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's capability to address the Bangladesh crisis, amid remarks by US President Donald Trump suggesting minimal US involvement. "We have faith in Modi's leadership. Even Trump aligns with our PM's approach towards peace and diplomacy," Ghosh stated.

Ghosh further pointed out disturbances along the Bangladesh border, attributing them to disruptive elements. "Dialogue is the key," he added, after having discussions with BSF officials who assure that the situation may resolve in the coming days.

The issue was a focal point in a recent meeting at the White House between Modi and Trump. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri disclosed that PM Modi shared concerns about Bangladesh with Trump, underlining India's desire for constructive bilateral relations. Meanwhile, Trump acknowledged the situation but deferred resolution efforts to Modi.
