The ceasefire, which paused over 15 months of conflict, saw Hamas return four bodies, including that of 83-year-old Oded Lifshitz. However, a body reportedly intended to be that of Shiri Bibas, originally presumed among those returned, was found to belong to a Gazan woman.

Netanyahu criticized this mishandling, insisting that Hamas would be held accountable. 'The utmost determination will be exercised to repatriate Shiri Bibas and all hostages, ensuring justice for this egregious violation,' Netanyahu stated, emphasizing the enduring significance of the victims within national memory.
