Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks to the U.S. media regarding the controversy involving the Adani Group. Gandhi asserted that the issue is a national rather than a personal matter.
During a youth address in Lalganj, Gandhi highlighted Modi's recent U.S. interactions, criticizing the Prime Minister for not raising the ongoing Adani Group controversy with former President Donald Trump and labeling such issues as 'individual'.
Allegations against Gautam Adani involve a bribery case in the U.S. linked to solar power contract deals. The Adani Group has denied these allegations, while further scrutiny has been avoided in Modi's discussions with international leaders.
