In a fiery exchange, Union Minister Giriraj Singh lashed out at Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Bihar Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, accusing him of arrogance. Singh asserted that Yadav's political ascent was due to his lineage rather than democratic struggle, likening it to a 'monarchical' entitlement.
The controversy stems from Yadav critiquing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's inaction against a BJP MLA who inflamed tensions with divisive remarks about Muslims and Holi. Yadav rebuked Kumar, stating that the Chief Minister appears oblivious to the MLA's statement, questioning his commitment to addressing communal concerns.
Yadav further accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of wielding significant influence over its ally, the Janata Dal (United). He emphasized Bihar's cultural harmony, asserting that the state celebrates unity among diverse communities. Yadav vowed the RJD's commitment to uphold the Constitution and Lalu Yadav's inclusive ideology, irrespective of political setbacks.
