Controversy Surrounds PM's Ties with Convicted Indian Leader

India's Congress party has raised serious concerns about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's associations, spotlighted by viral photographs of him with Balesh Dhankhar. Dhankhar, once the head of the Overseas Friends of BJP in Australia, was recently sentenced to 40 years for his role in a series of premeditated rapes.

Congress spokesperson Alka Lamba demanded clarity from the Prime Minister regarding any potential ties to Dhankhar. According to reports, Dhankhar lured women with fraudulent job postings, ultimately drugging and assaulting them. Lamba emphasized the gravity of such affiliations, urging immediate clarifications from Modi's office.

The BJP has yet to release a statement. The Congress party insists the ruling party should address these allegations transparently, as the controversy threatens India's image internationally.
