Akhilesh Yadav has strongly criticized the attack on the residence of Dalit Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman in Agra, accusing the BJP of stoking divisions within the society. Yadav particularly called out the Uttar Pradesh government for failing to prevent the attack, which occurred even as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present in the city.
Yadav took to X to question CM Adityanath's authority, stating that the failure to halt the attack raises questions about the administration's commitment to its 'zero tolerance' policy. Emphasizing that his party stands for social justice, Yadav highlighted the attack as a part of ongoing systemic issues faced by minorities in the state.
Mocking the government's recent showcase of AI technology, Yadav challenged the administration to employ AI in identifying the attackers if it indeed aims to uphold law and order. He further criticized the BJP for leveraging historical narratives for political gains and urged focus on genuine issues like employment, healthcare, and public safety.
