Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, has voiced robust support for the central government's anti-terrorism initiatives amid rising tensions with Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of national unity in combating terror threats.
During a press briefing in Lucknow, Yadav reaffirmed his party's backing for governmental efforts in eradicating terrorism following the tragic attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives. He praised the Indian armed forces for their precision in executing Operation Sindoor, targeting terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Yadav reiterated that military operations should remain non-political, encouraging clear objectives to secure the nation's borders and uphold soldiers' morale. He also reflected on regional crackdowns, warning against unjust actions during external threats.
