Nikki Haley Supports India's Retaliation Against Pahalgam Attack
Nikki Haley, an Indian-American Republican leader, endorsed India's retaliation against the Pahalgam terror attack, stressing that Pakistan shouldn't play the victim. Indian-American Republican leader Nikki Haley has backed India's right to retaliate following the Pahalgam terror attack, condemning any attempt by Pakistan to claim victimhood in the situation.
India responded with Operation Sindoor, targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after the deadly assault in Jammu and Kashmir which claimed 26 lives. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri characterized India's response as strategic and proportional, designed to dismantle terrorist networks and avert further attacks.
Haley, who served as the US Ambassador during Donald Trump's administration, criticized continued U.S. financial aid to Pakistan despite its alleged ties to terrorism, highlighting past policy decisions to cut military aid to Pakistan. She has consistently asserted that a 'strong America' should not fund rogue states.
