Modi Prioritizes Odisha Over Washington

During a rally in Bhubaneswar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed that he declined an invitation from US President Donald Trump to visit Washington. Instead, he chose to make a significant visit to Odisha, emphasizing the cultural importance of the land of Lord Jagannath.

Modi explained to the gathered audience that Trump extended the invitation while he was attending the G7 Summit in Canada. Despite the high-profile nature of the US invitation, Modi's commitment to Odisha's event was unwavering.

In Odisha, Modi participated in the first anniversary of the state's BJP-led government, marking the occasion by launching new development projects and initiatives valued at over Rs 18,600 crore.
