Allegations of Financial Misconduct Thrown at Andhra Pradesh's Leadership

YSRCP leader Gudivada Amarnath accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of using frequent trips to Singapore to stash illicit wealth rather than attract investments. Amarnath criticized Naidu's dealings with Singapore firms, the Amaravati development agreement, and challenged the ruling TDP on land allotment practices.

Gudivada Amarnath, a leader in the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), made serious allegations against N Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. On Saturday, he accused Naidu of using his frequent visits to Singapore to hide 'ill-gotten wealth' instead of seeking investments for the state.

Amarnath claimed Naidu visited Singapore 58 times during his previous term as Chief Minister, not for development but to protect his financial interests. He alleged Naidu was aided by a longtime associate facing corruption charges. Furthermore, he challenged Naidu and his son, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, to clarify the outcomes of their recent Singapore trip.

Responding to Lokesh's accusation of YSRCP-linked interference in Singaporean investments, Amarnath countered by stating that such emails were actually sent by a TDP functionary. He criticized land allocation deals under Naidu, calling for a public debate on their fairness, and condemned the handling of the Amaravati development agreement.
