The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lashed out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi following his remarks labeling their election victory as a 'fraud'. According to the ruling party, Gandhi's statements not only insult the voters but also question the integrity of the Election Commission.
At a recent press conference, Gandhi claimed that an analysis of voter data in Karnataka revealed election rigging by the Election Commission at the behest of the BJP. He accused the BJP of orchestrating a 'criminal fraud' to secure wins in the forthcoming 2024 general elections.
Responding to these allegations, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad condemned Gandhi's comments as irresponsible. Prasad emphasized that the electorate has continually chosen Narendra Modi for his work and integrity, and dismissed Gandhi's accusations as evidence of his party's frustration over dwindling public support.
