BJP leader CR Kesavan launched a fierce criticism against Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of undermining constitutional institutions with his allegations against the Election Commission. Kesavan described Gandhi as a "frustrated, failed politician" resorting to "hollow sensationalism," likening his mindset to a "Nazi-like despotic" approach.

Kesavan claimed Rahul Gandhi's accusations lack credibility and have backfired. "Rahul Gandhi is showing a despotic mindset, attacking democratic institutions. His claims are becoming a damp squib," he said. Kesavan questioned Gandhi's reluctance to authenticate his claims and accused him of spreading pessimistic propaganda against constitutional institutions.

Rahul Gandhi, meanwhile, stated that those involved in the alleged electoral scam would face punishment. He called vote theft a major betrayal and announced a Congress protest in Bengaluru against voter list irregularities. Gandhi alleged collusion between the Election Commission and the BJP, attributing Prime Minister Modi's win to this alleged fraud.
