The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation staged a rally in Ranchi on Monday, voicing their strong opposition to the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in the state of Bihar.

Protesters urged the government to cancel the revision and make the digital voter lists public while also demanding the removal of the 45-day limitation for retaining CCTV footage of polling booths.

Rally participants marched from Ranchi's Birsa Chowk and ended their protest near the Chief Electoral Officer's office, with representatives of the CPI (ML)L meeting CEO K Ravi Kumar to submit a memorandum on their concerns.
