He remarked that not a single day passes without chaos and adjournments, highlighting what he sees as a fundamental lack of understanding of democratic principles.

Pawar shared his thoughts while attending an event marking the 81st birthday of veteran Congress leader Ulhas Pawar. He praised Ulhas for his unwavering belief in the unifying power of Mahatma Gandhi's and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's ideals, indicating their lasting relevance in keeping the country united.

Addressing the gathering, Sharad Pawar pointed out the shifting political landscape, emphasizing the need for the Opposition to raise their voices to preserve democracy. This, he noted, was the reason behind recent protests and arrests of Opposition leaders.
