India Asserts Distinct Identity in Global Diplomacy

The Indian government declared its stance in the Rajya Sabha, emphasizing the distinction between India, the victim of cross-border terrorism, and Pakistan, its perpetrator. The Ministry of External Affairs outlined various diplomatic measures, including addressing China's influence over Pakistan, to strengthen India's foreign policy narrative and global standing.

The Indian government has taken a firm stance against equating India with Pakistan in matters of terrorism, declaring this position in the Rajya Sabha. India is positioned as a victim of cross-border terrorism, whereas Pakistan is identified as the perpetrator.

Minister of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, detailed India's diplomatic efforts in distinguishing its role globally, responding to questions on India's foreign policy, the India-Pakistan dichotomy, and China's influence over Pakistan. The Ministry's discussions follow the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor.

Seven all-party delegations amplified this message worldwide, underscoring India's consensus in tackling terrorism. Diplomatic initiatives aim to enhance India's foreign policy strengths, ensuring global acknowledgment of its democracy, economic growth, and cultural contribution.
