China Challenges US-Japan Missile Deployment

China has urged the US to withdraw its Typhon missile system from Japan, citing security threats. China's Foreign Ministry criticized the deployment amid joint military exercises, emphasizing regional stability. In a move reflecting rising regional tensions, China has called on the United States to dismantle its recently deployed Typhon missile system in Japan. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian, this development poses a significant threat to regional strategic security.

Despite China's pronounced concerns, the US and Japan proceeded with the missile deployment under the premise of joint military drills. Lin emphasized China's strong disapproval, stating that such actions jeopardize regional peace and could potentially lead to an arms race.
