The unsettling discovery drew local attention, with residents noting Kumar's presence at the office earlier in the morning. Reports from television channels suggest the existence of a suicide note near his body, allegedly containing accusations against BJP leaders, but this has yet to be verified by law enforcement.
BJP district president V V Rajesh acknowledged Kumar's anxiety over financial difficulties at a cooperative society he led, contributing to his mental distress. However, he did not comment on the supposed remarks against party leaders mentioned in the reported note.
