While the nation rejoiced in Diwali festivities, Telangana's fire department experienced a significant uptick in emergency calls, responding to 44 incidents on the day. A notable fire erupted at Arene Life Sciences Private Limited in the Sangareddy Industrial area, where fire services were promptly dispatched.

Two fire engines from Sadhasivapet and Sangareddy managed to control the blaze efficiently, with no casualties reported. A fire department official remarked on the day's intensity, highlighting the major fire event and the quick response deployed to manage the situation.

In contrast, New Delhi battled a different crisis the following morning, waking up to a dense cloak of smog as air quality plunged into the 'Very Poor' category. The Central Pollution Control Board reported an overall Air Quality Index of 350, with some areas surpassing the 'Severe' threshold, exacerbating post-Diwali pollution concerns.
