Stalin noted that Abdullah is emblematic of the fight against the erosion of Kashmir's rights and autonomy.

Born on October 21, 1937, Abdullah is a seasoned politician, having served as Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister three times and also as a Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy.
