The tense moment occurred as Minister Gopi returned from participating in a 'kalungu samvadam' at the Pallikkathodu bus stand ground. In television footage, the individual is seen running after the minister's car, pleading for it to halt. His attempts were abruptly stopped by a group of BJP workers who questioned his actions and forcibly removed him from the scene.
Following the incident, a complaint was lodged by BJP district leader N Hari, pressing allegations of a security lapse. He cited the individual's sudden actions as a breach, calling for an investigation. Meanwhile, police stated they were looking into the matter but dismissed claims of a security failure.
