The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized the opposition's grand alliance in Bihar, labeling it a 'divided house.' Concerns were raised about Tejashwi Yadav's capabilities as the Chief Ministerial candidate, with BJP suggesting he might struggle even to secure the post of Leader of Opposition after the upcoming election results.
The BJP asserted that the opposition's CM and deputy CM designations were made out of necessity rather than choice. They pointed out the exclusion of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from major announcements and posters, arguing that the RJD showed the Congress its 'aukat' or position within the coalition.
Significant infighting within Mahagathbandhan was highlighted, with BJP citing the absence of Gandhi's image from promotional materials as evidence of internal discord. The ruling party's spokespersons implied that these signs of conflict signal an inevitable breakup within the opposition's ranks.
