The Election Commission of India announced that over 6 crore voters in Tamil Nadu received enumeration forms during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), reaching 94.74 percent of the electorate.

Since the SIR began on November 4, 83,45,574 forms have been digitised, amounting to about 13.02 percent, illustrating a notable effort in enhancing electoral processes.
