Delegations from both nations, including Ukraine's senior negotiator Rustem Umerov, met in Miami for two days. The discussions, described as 'constructive,' aimed to develop a viable path towards a sustainable peace framework.
Following Witkoff's recent meeting in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he is expected to brief Umerov in Kyiv. Zelenskiy emphasized the need for close collaboration to ensure all peace methods are actionable and effective.
