The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the alleged 'vote chori' in the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections has named seven individuals in a charge sheet. The accused include a former BJP MLA, his son, and his aide.

The charge sheet, submitted to the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Bengaluru, outlines the involvement of these individuals in manipulating voter lists by removing 5,994 names. Notably, Subhash Guttedar, his son Harshanand, and his secretary are among those implicated.

In response, Congress leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, are rallying against this alleged manipulation. A protest at Ram Leela Maidan in Delhi aims to raise awareness and garner support against electoral fraud.
