Jharkhand BJP Gears Up for State Leadership Election

The Jharkhand BJP is set to elect its new state president and national council members on January 13 in Ranchi, according to a party official. Union minister Jual Oram has been appointed as the state election officer to oversee the process.
BJP state general secretary Pradip Verma announced that nominations for the state president and national council members are open from 12 noon to 2 pm at the state BJP headquarters. Scrutiny will occur from 2 pm to 3 pm, with candidates allowed to withdraw their nominations between 3 pm and 5 pm. If more than one candidate is nominated, an election for the state president's post will be held.
The official announcement of the newly elected state president and national council members will be made on January 14. The organizational election process has been ongoing for the past year, with mandal and district-level elections recently completed. Newly elected district presidents were felicitated by the state BJP on Sunday.
