Maharashtra minister and senior BJP leader Ganesh Naik encountered a hurdle on election day when he discovered his name missing from the Navi Mumbai civic polls voters' list.
After hours of hopping between polling booths, Naik eventually managed to exercise his voting right at St Mary School. He expressed dissatisfaction with the chaos and inefficiency displayed by election officials.
Naik criticized the State Election Commission, suggesting that if a public figure like himself could face such issues, the plight of common voters could be worse. Voting progressed for elections across 29 municipal corporations, including Navi Mumbai.
