Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandnephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, has raised concerns over the ongoing electoral roll revision exercise in West Bengal. Bose, who participated in the hearing, described the process as 'important' yet mismanaged.
Bose, a candidate in previous assembly and Lok Sabha elections under the BJP banner, labeled the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls as 'sheer harassment,' citing a lack of clarity. He and his family experienced issues despite submitting all necessary documents.
Discrepancies arose when Bose, along with his wife and daughter, participated in the hearings, only to find problems with document linkage. Poll officials couldn't locate his name in the 2002 voters' list initially, which Bose finds troubling, given the haste in conducting the exercise.
