Edappadi K Palaniswami Launches Groundbreaking Campaign Tour

In a strategic move ahead of the Assembly polls, AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami is set to embark on a campaign tour next week, the party announced on Saturday.

Palaniswami has put forth 10 key election promises focusing on social welfare, employment, housing, and women's empowerment. This makes him the first political leader to release a poll manifesto ahead of the official election schedule and even before parties finalize their seat-sharing agreements.

The Leader of the Opposition plans to tour areas including Ambattur, Madhavaram, Ponneri, Maduravoyal, and Pallavaram from February 21 to 26 under the 'Save People, Save Tamil Nadu' campaign in Chennai. Party officials have been directed to make preparations for the tour, urging a large turnout from district secretaries, former ministers, MPs, and ex-MLAs.
