Former Jharkhand minister and three-time legislator, Dulal Bhuiyan, has made a significant political move by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was welcomed into the party by state BJP president Aditya Sahu and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi during a ceremony in Ranchi.
Bhuiyan, a former Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader, criticized the current state of the party, highlighting that it has deviated from its original path under Hemant Soren's leadership. He emphasized his previous allegiance to the late Shibu Soren, who symbolized the party's earlier ideology.
Reacting to Bhuiyan's departure, JMM general secretary Vinod Pandey claimed Bhuiyan was not an active member. Bhuiyan, with a history of shifting party alliances, now aligns with BJP's vision for empowering the Dalit and backward communities.
