Kejriwal Criticizes Modi's Foreign Policy Amid LPG Crisis

Arvind Kejriwal criticized the Indian government's handling of the LPG shortage, attributing it to foreign policy decisions involving Iran and Israel. The shortage threatens economic stability, affecting millions and posing closure risks for numerous businesses nationwide, while marking a shift from India's traditional non-aligned stance.

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, launched a scathing critique of the central government's handling of what he termed a crippling LPG shortage plaguing the nation.

He argued that 90% of India's LPG imports coming from the Strait of Hormuz have been disrupted due to a perceived policy misstep, resulting in potential unemployment for nearly 1 crore people and imminent shutdowns for half of Delhi NCR's hotels.

Kejriwal particularly targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of deviating from India's longstanding non-aligned foreign policy by siding with Israel, contributing to Iran becoming an adversary.
