Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced a bold pledge to recover funds allegedly misappropriated by West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC). Speaking at an election rally in Rajganj, Jalpaiguri, Shah emphasized the BJP's commitment to clean governance, highlighting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's long tenure remains untarnished by corruption allegations.
Shah criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, predicting her inevitable departure from office. He called on voters to support the BJP in its mission to reclaim money lost in scams, including a significant teacher recruitment fraud and mishandled flood relief funds. Shah urged voters to press the button next to the BJP's lotus symbol to initiate these justice-seeking actions.
Addressing the economic potential of North Bengal, Shah outlined the BJP's plan to turn development promises into reality, vowing to grant land titles to tea garden workers if voted into power. He underscored how the region is known for tea, timber, and tourism, vowing to fix the damages caused by existing malpractices.
