Pakistan is actively mediating between the United States and Iran, aiming for a peaceful resolution to ongoing hostilities in West Asia. At a recent briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi emphasized the ongoing diplomatic efforts.
Andrabi revealed that Pakistan is in constant communication with both nations, supporting new and ongoing proposals for peace. Encouraging direct negotiations, Pakistan remains hopeful for a stable outcome.
Recently, Iranian officials visited Pakistan for discussions, and although US negotiators were set to meet, talks have yet to resume. Tensions heightened after the US-Israel attack on Iran, and Pakistan's diplomatic role is pivotal in bringing both sides to the negotiation table.
